APAC ICS Summit & Training 2020

Singapore, Singapore | Fri, Nov 13 - Sat, Nov 28, 2020
Event starts in 20 Days

In response to the escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic, we've made the decision to convert this training event into a Live Online event. ICS Asia Pacific Summit & Training 2020 will now take place online Friday, November 13. The one day Summit will include live-streamed expert talks, Q&A sessions, and virtual networking opportunities.

The courses below will now take place online beginning on Monday, 16th November, using software to stream live instructors to all registered students during the scheduled classroom hours (Singapore Time). This alternate training format will allow us to deliver the cybersecurity training you expect while keeping you, our staff, and our instructors as safe as possible.

Your registration for a Live Online course includes electronically delivered courseware, live streaming instruction by a SANS instructor, course labs, and four months of online access to course recordings.

Robert M. Lee

Robert M. Lee
SANS certified instructor Robert M. Lee brings to the classroom one of the most valuable and respected of credentials: real-world experience. Robert is the CEO and founder of his own company, Dragos, Inc., that provides cyber security solutions for industrial control system networks. Consider the 2015 attack on the Ukraine power grid when for the first time in history a power grid went down due to an intentional cyberattack. Robert and a few others formed a specialized team to analyze the event and passed information to the impacted parties as well as the U.S. government and private sector.

"I was the first in the industry to publicly confirm the attack and wrote the industry standard report on the attack exploring how it occurred, the lessons learned, and what must be done to protect other infrastructure sites," Robert says. He and his team also analyzed the malware from the 2016 cyber attack on Ukraine's Kiev substation and dubbed it CRASHOVERRIDE as the first ever malware tailored to specifically disrupt electric grid operations.
